A judge in Egypt sentenced 683 supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi to death April 28 on charges of violent acts and the murder of policemen, AP reported. The trial included Mohamed Badie, a spiritual leader for Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood. Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said the ruling shames the Egyptian government as well as world powers, World Bulletin reported. Mass death sentences of Brotherhood members have strained Egypt's relations with regional and international players.
