U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff announced that Russia, Ukraine and the United States would resume trilateral negotiations in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Nov. 10-11, their first since February, to discuss de-escalation, humanitarian measures and postwar security arrangements, AP reported on Nov. 2. Washington also plans to consult with European and NATO officials, although Moscow has ruled out their direct participation in the negotiations.
