Niger said that "a drone strike carried out from Chadian territory" killed two civilians in the locality of Emi Lulu in its northern Agadez region and summoned Chad's ambassador to Niger to lodge a formal protest, Radio France Internationale reported on Oct. 27. Niger said Chad carried out the strike with the support of France.
