Director of the General Affairs Department of North Korea's ruling Workers' Party Kim Yo Jong said North Korea will resume loudspeaker propaganda broadcasts "along the whole border" with South Korea later in October, Yonhap News Agency reported on Oct. 21. Meanwhile, adviser to North Korea's defense ministry Pak Jong Chon on Oct. 20 urged troops to take decisive, swift action if South Korean forces threatened their safety.
