Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov acknowledged discussions about a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit on Nov. 18-19 in China, but said no concrete proposals or agreements had emerged regarding the meeting or its agenda, Ria Novosti reported on Oct. 19. Peskov also welcomed continued U.S. mediation efforts to end the war in Ukraine but stressed that any final settlement would require Kyiv's participation and willingness to assume responsibility for an agreement.
