Morocco's ruling centrist Authenticity and Modernity Party, or PAM, which secured the most votes in the September general election, formed a coalition government with the nationalist, conservative Istiqlal party, the social democratic Socialist Union of Popular Forces and the leftist Party of Progress and Socialism, Reuters reported on Oct. 12. Combined, the coalition has 207 of the 395 seats in Morocco's House of Representatives.
