Russian Security Council Deputy Secretary Alexey Shevtsov warned that the U.S.-backed Firebird artificial intelligence data center in Hrazdan, Armenia, could be used for Western intelligence operations against Russia, Iran and neighboring countries, RBC reported on Oct. 8. He also said U.S. authorities could access Armenian government and private data and warned that the facility's planned expansion could cause electricity shortages.
