Saudi Arabia is reportedly planning an offensive against Yemen's Houthi rebels that could include efforts to advance along the Yemeni coast to secure Red Sea shipping or a multi-front attack, Reuters reported on Oct. 2. The offensive — which is set to occur within weeks — is expected to be led by Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces with aerial support from Saudi Arabia as well as limited defensive and intelligence support from Saudi partners.
