Only 10 of India's 36 states and union territories have formally adopted at least some of India's four labor codes , with 10 finalizing rules under the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, nine under the Industrial Relations Code and the Code on Wages, and eight under the Social Security Code, The Economic Times reported on Oct. 1.
