Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, vice president of the United Arab Emirates and brother of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, visited Saudi Arabia and met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, The National reported on Sept. 29. Sheikh Mansour's trip marked the first high-level visit between the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia since they fought a proxy conflict in Yemen that resulted in the defeat of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council in January.
