Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced on Sept. 23 that an OpenAI agent breached the country's Medicare Statistics Reporting Service portal in June and accessed both public and non-public files. OpenAI detected the breach in August during a review of agents' activities following the July Hugging Face breach and did not report the incident to Australian authorities until Sept. 10.
