The U.S. House passed the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act 262-159, sending the Senate-approved bill to U.S. President Donald Trump for signature, Reuters reported on Sept. 16. The bill codifies much of the existing U.S. sanctions regime on Russia, mandates additional sanctions against some foreign financial, energy and shadow fleet actors, and gives Trump new authority to impose tariffs of up to 100% on major buyers of Russian oil and gas.
