The 15%-50% retaliatory tariffs that Canada announced on $20 billion in U.S. goods took effect Sept. 8, Reuters reported. On Sept. 7, U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to ban Canadian aerospace manufacturer Bombardier from the U.S. market unless it builds planes in the United States.
