Delegations from the rival Libyan governments agreed to a roadmap to hold nationwide elections within two years, Reuters reported on Aug. 30. The 4+4 committee is expected to develop a framework for the agreement's implementation, and the House of Representatives and the High Council of State have one month to approve the agreement, or else a secondary mechanism will seek a national representative mechanism to adopt it as a constitutional document.
