China's Gyirong Port, the main overland trade and tourism route connecting China to Nepal, is completely destroyed, as is the main cross-border bridge for trucking traffic, following an Aug. 26 flood, Reuters reported on Aug. 27. China has reported three people dead and 558 missing, and Nepal has reported 359 dead and 667 missing, with a majority of the missing being foreigners from at least 33 different countries.
