Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva reached a deal with the presidents of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate to vote on various bills ahead of the general election in October , Folha de S.Paulo reported Aug. 26. The agenda includes bills to reduce the workweek, strengthen federal public security powers, promote investment in critical minerals and data centers, and eliminate a tax on low-value imports.
