German investigators found a third drone and about 50 grams of a substance suspected to be the military-grade explosive hexogen west of Leipzig/Halle Airport on Aug. 14 as part of a probe into the failed Aug. 4 drone sabotage , DW reported on Aug. 25. Investigators also found drone-control equipment taped to a tree in Kursdorf, near the airport, and a suspected blast site nearby, while Chancellor Friedrich Merz said the government would soon attribute the attack.
