Syria will hand over uranium yellowcake and other leftover nuclear material from the Assad regime's "Site 99" at the former Al-Kibar nuclear research site to the International Atomic Energy Agency in a U.S.-brokered deal, Axios reported on Aug. 10. The agreement comes against the backdrop of heightened Israeli concern that Syrian authorities were accessing the site.
