Mozambique has faced escalating fuel shortages since the end of July, notably in the capital, Maputo, and its suburb, Matola, Club of Mozambique reported on Aug. 5. Several fuel stations in the capital region are reported to have run out of fuel, while others have limited sales to customers with supply contracts.
