Chile's Congress approved all but one of the economic proposals of President Jose Antonio Kast's economic reform package, El Pais reported on July 21. The bill aims to gradually reduce the corporate tax rate, eliminate capital gains taxes, provide decades-long ​tax stability for multimillion-dollar investments, streamline permitting procedures and introduce employment subsidies, among other goals.
