Oman's Mina al Fahal port temporarily stopped exporting oil on June 4 due to an alleged drone attack near the facility, Reuters reported the same day. The next day, CNN reported that Israel had sent elite troops to Azerbaijan to serve as rescue, drone and intelligence forces during the most intense phases of the Iran war, as well as utilized a base in Somaliland for jet-fighter refueling.

The U.S.-Iran ceasefire has prevented major re-escalation but has not ended attacks. Iran has focused its strikes on harassment designed to undermine confidence in the safety of the region and prevent a normalization of trade and energy supplies, while the United States has kept up its blockade to weaken Iran's economy. Meanwhile, Israel was found to have run two secret airstrips in Iraq as well as an air defense battery in the United Arab Emirates over the course of the war, as it ran an expansive, region-wide covert campaign to defend its allies and attack Iran.
