Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump said the fragile U.S.-Iran ceasefire is on "massive life support" on May 11, a day after he rejected Iran's response to the U.S. proposal to end the war.

Trump met with his national security team on May 11 to discuss the United States' options regarding Iran, after which two U.S. officials said Trump is warming to the idea of military escalation. Meanwhile, Iranian parliamentary spokesperson Ebrahim Rezaei said Iran could enrich uranium up to 90%, making it weapons-grade, if U.S. or Israeli attacks resumed. Separately, the Israel Defense Forces intercepted a drone attack on Eilat, suspected to have been launched by Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis in the first such attack since the start of the U.S.-Iran ceasefire on April 7.
