Iran struck targets in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain after the U.S.-Iran ceasefire was announced on April 7, Reuters reported on April 8. In Saudi Arabia, an Iranian drone struck a pumping station on the East-West crude oil pipeline, though disruptions to oil flows have not been confirmed.

Kuwait reported damage at facilities of the Kuwait Petroleum Corp., as well as three power stations and desalination plants. The United Arab Emirates reported 17 ballistic missiles and 35 drones after the ceasefire, as well as fires at a gas processing facility. Bahrain reported drone attacks that damaged homes and injured two people. Meanwhile, there were reports of strikes on Iranian oil facilities on Lavan and Sirri islands after the ceasefire as well, which likely contributed to the retaliation in the Gulf.
