The U.S. military attacked Iran's B1 bridge, which connects Tehran with a suburb and was allegedly used to transport missiles, resulting in its partial collapse and reportedly killing eight people, Axios reported on April 2. Hours later, Iran targeted an Oracle data center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The U.S. attack against Iran's B1 bridge occurred a day after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to bomb Iran "back to the Stone Ages." Also on April 2, Iran attacked an Amazon cloud center in Bahrain; Iran has previously struck Amazon data centers in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates during the conflict. Oracle is among the U.S. and Emirati technology companies that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps threatened to attack on March 31 in retaliation for U.S.-Israeli assassination attacks against Iranian leadership.
