Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman signed a military cooperation agreement to develop defense ties and potential contracts, Bloomberg reported on March 27.

Ukraine has developed layered air defense systems combining electronic warfare, mobile teams and interceptor drones to counter large-scale Russian aerial attacks. Gulf states have sought to strengthen air defenses following repeated Iranian drone and missile strikes. At the same time, Ukraine faces delays in securing additional Western funding and air defense supplies.
