The Israel Defense Forces said on March 4 that it conducted airstrikes against a facility in Tehran used as Iran's cyber warfare headquarters. Israeli officials said the operation aimed to degrade Iran's ability to conduct cyber operations and coordinate attacks against Israel during the ongoing conflict, though it is unclear whether the strikes resulted in any casualties or to what extent the site was damaged.

Thus far in the conflict, publicly known instances of Iran's cyber activity include an operation to compromise surveillance cameras in the region and Iranian-linked hacktivism responsible for compromises of Israeli payment systems, downing of Kuwaiti government websites and attacks on an Israeli oil and gas company and Jordanian gas stations.
