Top Mulsim cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi called on Sunnis to join the revolt against the Syrian regime, AFP reported June 1. Al-Qaradawi spoke at a rally in Doha on May 31, urging "every Muslim trained to fight" to support the Syrian rebels. He also spoke out against Shiite group Hezbollah for sending men to fight in support of the Syrian regime.
