South Korean Finance Minister Yoon Jeung Hyun met with his Egyptian counterpart, Boutros Ghali, in Cairo and said Seoul will work closely with Egypt on infrastructure, finance, industrial complex construction, nuclear power plants, oil field developments and fisheries, Yonhap reported Jan. 20. South Korea will also seek to expand its free trade agreement and pay close attention to Egypt given its stable politics, geographic advantage and competitive labor costs compared to other African countries, Yoon said.
