A U.S. Commerce Department spokesperson said the United States has not blocked sales of artificial intelligence (AI) chips to the Middle East, Reuters reported on Aug. 31. The point comes after U.S. technology company Nvidia said in a regulatory filing that the United States had expanded export license requirements for AI chip exports to the Middle East.
