An oversight board in the United Kingdom has pulled back from its 2017 assessment of the threat posed by Chinese company Huawei's involvement in the country's critical networks. The 2018 report from the British Cabinet office said security officials could give only limited assurances that the risk had been sufficiently mitigated.
