British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt has urged German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas in a private letter to ease a German arms sales ban to Saudi Arabia, The Guardian reported Feb. 20. Hunt has stated that the ban includes German-produced parts that the United Kingdom requires for its own export obligations.
