A number of social media sites and messaging services have become inaccessible in Tajikistan following protests in the eastern Tajik city of Khorog, Asia-Plus reported Nov. 7. While Tajikistan's Communication Service has claimed that the disruptions stem from technical reasons, opposition groups have said the outages are a result of the protests.
