Turkish private military company SADAT entered talks with an unnamed Sahelian state to strengthen the security of the country's presidential palace, Radio France Internationale reported on May 21. The company has reportedly deployed up to 1,100 Syrian mercenaries to Niger since September 2023, although SADAT has denied these claims.
