The second round of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine took place in Belarus amid ongoing war and did not result in a cease-fire agreement, ABC reported March 3. The parties agreed "on the possibility of a temporary ceasefire" for the organization of humanitarian corridors and to create special communication channels for interaction during the evacuation of civilians, but no progress was made toward any broader peace settlement or general halt of hostilities.
