Over the past two days, police officers across Moscow have visited the homes of dozens of opposition leader Alexey Navalny’s supporters (both current and former), asking them to identify themselves as victims and press charges against Navalny’s team for mishandling their information, Meduza reported Aug. 18.

Earlier this month, a Moscow court rejected an appeal against the decision to designate Navalny’s organizations as “extremist” groups. In addition to barring their operations, the label puts members and supporters of the organizations at risk of up to six years in prison.
