Three sources close to Russia's presidential administration said Ukraine's separatist Luhansk (LPR) and Donetsk republics (DPR) could hold referendums on their annexation into Russia on May 14-15, Meduza reported April 27. Reports also say Ukraine's Russian-occupied southern region of Kherson could hold a referendum on the creation of a "Kherson People's Republic" modeled on the LPR and DPR on the same date.
