The Philippines and the United States have concluded a pact on nuclear power cooperation under the Section 123 agreement framework, Reuters reported Nov. 17. The deal permits the United States to provide nuclear material, technology and knowhow in order for the Philippines to develop its nuclear energy sector in accordance with non-proliferation requirements.
