A Pakistani court sentenced Imran Khan, Pakistan's former prime minister and leader of the opposition Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, and former PTI Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to 10 years in prison for the unauthorized disclosure of state secrets, Geo News reported on Jan. 30. The PTI denounced the trial as a farce and expressed intentions to challenge the conviction before the Islamabad High Court on Jan. 31.
