Former Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, the leader of Italy's 5-Star Movement (5SM) party, is set to quit Prime Minister Mario Draghi's coalition government over divisions within the party on government support for Ukraine, Bloomberg reported June 21. In response, Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said the same day that he would leave Conte's 5SM to form a new parliamentary group backing Draghi's government.
