The United States has sent $365 million in funding to Kurdish peshmerga fighters , according to the deputy peshmerga minister, Sarbast Lazgin, Rudaw reported Jan. 24. The money is allocated by the 2018 U.S. defense bill. The United States allocated $415 million to the peshmerga in the previous fiscal year.
