As he began campaigning for a third term on Feb. 18, Hungarian leader Viktor Orban urged the creation of a global alliance against migration, Reuters reported. The prime minister has advocated "ethnic homogeneity" and has clashed with the European Union mainstream, as well as with the United Nations. Those disagreements have centered on migration as people escaping the Middle East and Africa crossed into Europe. Eastern European leaders, including those in Poland, have been following Orban's lead.
