The European Union and China restarted negotiations to remove EU tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, according to German newspaper Handelsblatt on April 10. The paper revealed that Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao met with EU Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic in Beijing, China, in late March, and the two agreed to try to resolve their trade issues through negotiation.
