Djibouti is training members of the Awdal State Movement rebel group, which opposes Somalia's breakaway region of Somaliland, Somali Guardian reported on July 9. The reports come as Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh received on July 8 the leader of Khaatumo state, an autonomous region of Somalia in conflict with Somaliland.
