The Chinese embassy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo published a notice on Nov. 30 urging Chinese citizens to leave the eastern Ituri, North Kivu and South Kivu provinces in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, RFI reported Dec. 1. The notice also requested that Chinese nationals in risk areas report their location before Dec. 10.
