Chinese authorities have detained five local Chinese employees of the U.S. corporate due diligence firm Mintz Group and shuttered operations at the Mintz Group's sole China-based office in Beijing, Reuters reported March 23, citing a company email. Authorities have not given the company any legal notice in regard to the detentions.
