European intelligence sources claim that Russian arms producer IEMZ Kupol was working with local experts to produce in China a new long-range attack drone, the Garpiya-3 (G3), for use on the Ukrainian battlefield, according to Reuters on Sept. 25. Reuters added that at least two G3 drones had been delivered to Kupol's headquarters in Russia for testing, while Kupol laid out a potential plan for a Chinese facility in Xinjiang to produce 800 drones per year.
