Argentine President Mauricio Macri will meet Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Jan. 16 to discuss changes to trade policies in the Common Market of the South (Mercosur), La Nacion reported Jan. 7. Bolsonaro is expected to propose a reduction to the bloc's common external tariff and a profound reform of member states' ability to negotiate and sign bilateral free trade agreements with countries outside the bloc.
