Texas-based engineering company KBR said on Oct. 2 it will work at two major natural gas developments, In Salah Gas and In Amenas, targeted by terrorist attacks in recent years, UPI reported. KBR said it will provide construction detail design engineering, procurement services, and construction management. In Salah Gas was attacked in March 2016 and In Amenas was targeted by al Qaeda sympathizers in January 2013. Algeria possesses the world's tenth largest natural gas deposits and is Europe's third-largest supplier. Over the past decade Algeria has experienced a decline in oil and natural gas production .
