The global press is fed predictions from the true movers and shakers of the world. Since these predictions are not from mere mortals, it is understandable that the world hangs on every gem put forth. Amazingly, with extraordinary frequency the concerns at Davos turn out to be cause for amusement in hindsight. Where they got the issue right, they were on the wrong side. More often, they don't even seem to grasp the agenda. The gems do not gleam so brightly upon closer examination.
